Roswell are a 4 piece rock band from Morley/Tingley area. We started out as a 3 piece band consisting of Mark Heppenstall on vocals and guitar, Scott leak on bass and vocals and Josh Adair on drums. although Scott was playing bass at this time he was a guitarist but was filling in on bass as bassist are hard to come by. After playing together for around 4-5 months we decided that we required a second guitar to make our songs sound fuller, plus Scott wanted to go back to playing guitar. So after around a month of searching Josh suggested a bass player he knew called Dan Turner from a previous band he was in. So we all met up for the first seshion and started off just jamming and it sounded awesome. It was as if Dan had been in the band from the start. we are still going strong with lots of gigs under under out belt and many more to come. I dont really like to tie ourselfs down to any genre but if I had to I would say we were Alternative Rock.
